Linda Anderson

Linda is a hardworking woman from Dundalk, Maryland, who has spent most of her life working in the hospitality industry. She is a mother to two adult children, who most loves sewing, crocheting, reading, and scrapbooking.

Linda was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and went through many rounds of chemotherapy treatment. She continued to work, even while battling the disease. Fortunately, Linda’s social worker reached out to A Message of Hope Cancer Fund on her behalf. We have covered grocery and gas costs, as well as car and utility payments. Linda has been able to take some time off from work and get the recommended rest she needs.

Linda has recently stopped chemotherapy treatment and asks for prayers as she fights this battle.

In addition to the already burdensome costs of treating cancer, when a child or family member is critically ill, one parent may have to leave his or her job to care for them. This makes it difficult for families to cover expenses they previously did not have difficulty with, such as utility bills, rent or mortgage payments, rising gas costs, and other everyday expenses. MHCF offers families assistance with some of these costs.
